Your experienced Hull dentist, Nick Allday, is supported by four nurse counsellors and a visiting implant dentist, and our whole team is trained to help answer any questions you might have.

Nick graduated from Sheffield Dental School in 1988 and then qualified as LDS of Royal College of Surgeons in 1989. He completed the Yorkshire two-year course in Fixed Orthodontic Appliance Therapy in 2000.
Nick has completed additional training with the British Dental Acupuncture Society that allows him to offer acupuncture for dental problems ranging from helping alleviate dental anxiety and gagging during treatment, to facial and jaw pain problems.
Between 2001 and 2003 Nick completed yearlong courses in Advanced Restorative Techniques and Clinical Skills at Manchester University and Implant Techniques at one of the top dental centres in the UK.
He has also attended conferences in New York to learn latest techniques for cosmetic dentistry and regularly attends aesthetic courses in London. He has also attended the only tooth whitening conference in the UK. In 2010 he passed his Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry at Leeds with a distinction.
Nick’s main interests are in prevention, high quality restorative dentistry, crown and bridgework, cosmetic dentistry and occlusion. In fact Nick is currently developing his knowledge further with the Dawson Academy refining his techniques in restorative dentistry.

Craig has been involved in surgical dentistry for over 25 years. He runs a private referral practice in Leeds, UK, where the majority of his work is in implant dentistry. He has been actively involved in the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) at the Royal College of Surgeons where he was on the board of examiners for over 10 years and he was elected to the national board where he served for 3 years.
He has trained with some of the most respected impantologists in the world including Professor Buser at the University of Bern, Switzerland. He is a member, accredited mentor and speaker with the International Team for Implantology (ITI). Craig is President of the Association of Dental Implantology (UK) where he has been on the national board for five years.
Craig’s special interest is in digital workflow in dental implantology: using ultra-precision digital treatment planning, cone beam CT imaging, digital intra-oral scanning and CAD-CAM restoration to maximize hard and soft tissue aesthetics and functionality. He regularly lectures to various study groups and diploma and MSc programmes in the UK and occasionally at national and international dental congresses.

Jodie trained with us from the age of 17 as a dental nurse and gained her dental nurse qualification in May 2011. She then went on to study her Access to Higher Education diploma on a part-time basis while still working, enabling her to gain entry into Sheffield Dental School to study dental hygiene and therapy.
Jodie graduated in June 2015 and will be working alongside Nick carrying out a variety of treatments such as improving gum health, placing fillings, treating children’s teeth and tooth whitening. Jodie has already started attending courses and has just recently completed the same tooth whitening course as Nick.

Anna also trained with us from the age of 17 as a dental nurse and gained her dental nursing qualification. She then went on to study her Access to Higher Education diploma on a part-time basis while still working, enabling her to gain entry into Newcastle University to study dental hygiene and therapy.
Anna graduated in November 2016 and will be working alongside Nick and Jodie carrying out a variety of treatments such as improving gum health, placing fillings and treating children’s teeth.
Nurse Counsellor & Oral Health Educator

Bridie has been with the practice since it opened in 1999 and has worked with Nick since 1989. She is a qualified dental nurse, has a certificate in radiology, has qualified as a dental health educator and is trained to take dental impressions. Bridie is also Manor Dental Health’s treatment co-ordinator and she can answer most queries regarding our treatments and the implant process.
She is keen to work with all our patients to improve their oral hygiene. You will often find her taking plaque samples, which you may find surprising!

Jayne is a qualified dental nurse and has also been with the practice since 1999. Since having her 3rd child she has been working part time here at Manor Dental Health in Hull. She has a certificate in radiography, so you may find her taking your x-rays, and she is trained to apply fluoride to teeth.
She also plays an active role ensuring that we monitor how well our practice runs and supports in practice management. You may find Jayne applying your fluoride as she has further developed her knowledge, gaining a certificate in fluoride application.

Karen is a qualified dental nurse, who has been with us since 1999, and she is trained to take dental impressions. She is likely to be the person you first come across on visiting Manor Dental Health as she enjoys working on reception and she is able to help with most queries you may have.

Sasha is a qualified dental nurse, who joined us in May 2013, having previously worked for a number of years as a florist. Sasha would like to further her career by taking radiography and oral health courses and she enjoys working both on reception and nursing.
Trainee Nurse Counsellor
Rebecca is our newest team member and she works full time at our practice. She joined Manor Dental Health in July 2016 having previously studied at Sirius Academy. Rebecca is enjoying her dental nursing course at Hull College and she hopes to qualify in 2017. Rebecca has represented Hull in national table tennis tournaments.
Front of House & Accounts
Louise works tirelessly in the background, helping our practice run smoothly and dealing with accounts and other areas of general management. She also looks after our Tooth Saver Scheme and provides front of house cover, so you are very likely to meet her.
